WOOD IS ITS ELEMENT

Every aspect of the blade’s geometry tells you that the Compañero is a cutter by nature: a convex grind taken to zero, a thin 2.8 mm spine, a narrow, agile blade, and a very delicate tip. This knife is clearly not meant for heavy-duty tasks — but when it comes to opening packages, cutting ropes, slicing anything from bread and carrots to deboning meat, and most importantly, carving and working with wood — that’s where it truly shines.
PROVEN RELIABILITY

The knife features a Full-Tang construction — a solid metal design where the tang runs the full length of the handle, matching its shape exactly. This is the most durable knife construction possible.

The blade’s elegance is perfectly balanced by its convex grind — the strongest geometry there is — and, most importantly, by the use of excellent steel.
STEEL BEYOND ITS CLASS

AUS-10Co is an outstanding modern stainless steel that far outperforms its price category.
After a complex multi-stage heat treatment in a nitrogen atmosphere followed by cryogenic processing, it achieves a hardness of around 61 HRC, delivers an excellent, aggressive cutting edge more typical of high-carbon steels, and offers impressive strength. Add to that its superb sharpenability, good corrosion resistance — and you have a new favorite among mid-range knife steels, confidently aiming for the top tier.
KNIFE SHEATH INNOVATION

The Compañero features high-end, deep-carry sheaths crafted from premium quality leather with elegant embossing. They come equipped with a quick-detach free-hanging loop — a rare feature for leather sheaths — as well as a fixed-carry loop. The sheaths are compact, minimalist, and visually refined.
Inside the mouth of the sheath is a unique leather spring, formed by the suspension system, which provides a more secure knife retention. This is a special development by our leatherworking partners — an absolute innovation in the world of knife design
ERGONOMIC HANDLE

The handle is exceptionally comfortable. With its pronounced belly, tapered contours for the index finger and pinky, a well-shaped rear “mushroom” end, and a small front guard, it fits the hand perfectly — as if it were made just for you.
