Survivalist X Full-Tang guide
Clear answers about full-tang construction, handles, steel choices and ownership.
Survivalist X Full-Tang is a large outdoor fixed blade with a 193 mm blade, 5 mm stock and a continuous steel tang. It is designed for experienced users who want substantial construction for camp, field and preparedness tasks.
The Full-Tang model carries the blade steel through the complete handle and uses removable G10 or walnut scales. X Dural instead uses a hollow duralumin handle with an internal emergency capsule. Both share the long plain-edge X blade concept.
G10 provides excellent dimensional stability through changing moisture and temperature. Caucasian walnut offers a warmer traditional feel and individual natural grain. Both are shaped for clear blade orientation and controlled handling.
We produce Survivalist X Full-Tang in AUS-8 or D2. AUS-8 offers toughness, corrosion resistance and straightforward field sharpening; D2 provides higher wear resistance and prolonged edge retention. Availability varies by production run and market.
The current sheath uses a ballistic-nylon outer body with an edge-caring polypropylene insert and adaptable belt or gear attachment. The knife is covered by the Kizlyar Supreme warranty for the original owner; see the current terms for details.
