The Survivalist X Dural is equipped with a duralumin handle (a strong aluminum and copper-based alloy used in aircraft construction) that houses a survival capsule containing: a set of weatherproof matches, needle and thread, a set of fishing line with three different hooks and two sinkers, copper wire, a safety pin, two different sized surgical blades, sterile band-aids, and a sealed capsule.
The duralumin handle has a nice notch for a secure grip.

AUS-8 is a balanced AUS -8 that combines important quality parameters such as good corrosion resistance, good toughness and good wear resistance.
The combination of excellent wear resistance, high hardness and good corrosion resistance makes D2 an excellent choice for serious knives. This premium steel remains sharpenable for a very long time due to its high hardness, but is not suitable for lateral loads because of this high hardness.
