- SMALL SWORDSensei combines Japanese-inspired blade lines with Kizlyar Supreme’s practical full-tang construction. Its 222 mm tanto-inspired blade gives the knife a distinctive presence and forward balance for substantial camp and outdoor work.
Despite its size, the carefully shaped handle and controlled geometry make Sensei feel purposeful rather than cumbersome. - BALANCED FOR CAMP WORKThe forward balance supports efficient cutting, carving and chopping, while the full-tang construction provides strength throughout the handle.
Replaceable Kraton inserts provide a secure, comfortable grip. Current-production Sensei knives use a shaped polypropylene sheath with a multi-position carry platform. - EXCELLENT STEELSSensei is offered in D2 and AUS-8. D2 favours wear resistance and long edge life, while AUS-8 balances toughness, corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance.
Controlled heat treatment is used to achieve consistent performance, and exact hardness and finish depend on the individual production version. - DIAGONAL WEARThe sheath platform and compatible clip support several belt angles, including diagonal carry, so users can select a position that suits their movement and equipment.
A well-chosen diagonal position can keep the long handle clear when bending and create a natural angle for controlled extraction.
- THOUGHTFUL DESIGNThe construction of the knife is simple, but as sturdy as possible: the handle scales made of Kraton, which is known for its abrasion resistance and high friction properties, are screwed and additionally glued to the all-metal shaft.
It is worth noting that the handle is perfectly compatible with tactical gloves.
- WILL SAVE YOUR FINGERSThe pronounced guard, textured Kraton and tapered handle geometry help keep the hand securely positioned during demanding cutting and chopping work.
The handle shape provides clear indexing, helps resist rotation and supports controlled use with bare hands or work gloves. - TOP ERGONOMICSThe handle can be held closer to the guard for control or farther back for additional leverage. - TACWASH and STONEWASHSensei is available with StoneWash or TacWash. StoneWash gives the blade a practical textured finish, while TacWash uses our multi-stage vibratory process to create a darker, low-reflection surface.
Both finishes are designed for real use, helping everyday marks blend naturally into the blade surface. - WITH HANDLE DOWNWARDSCurrent-production Sensei knives use a shaped polypropylene sheath selected for secure retention, controlled extraction, moisture resistance and reduced edge contact compared with harder glass-filled materials.
