The knife was developed in collaboration with the "Forestry" team, guys who know firsthand why you need a knife in the forest. - WOOD CRAFTSMANThe Forester is perfect for woodworking. This is mainly due to the geometry of the blade.
Like most Scandinavian knives, the Forester has a slightly convex lens, but it's not straight like the classic "Scandi" knives.
Such a lens, which is reduced to zero and has no micro undercuts, gives the knife an unparalleled woodcut while providing tremendous stability to the edge under any load.
- RELIABLE DESIGNThe knife itself is of full-tang construction, that is, with an all-metal shaft that completely repeats the shape of the handle. This is the most reliable knife construction ever.
With a thickness of 3.4 mm, the safety margin is more than solid.
Fantastic cuts and durability are the main advantages of this forest boy.
- SERIOUS STEELAnother small but important detail is the maintainability of the forest.
Bohler N690 steel, from which the blade is made, is characterized by high corrosion resistance, good edge retention and stress resistance.
And thanks to its high uniformity, it is quite easy to sharpen with a hardness of 60-61 HRC.
With a simple camping mouse, straightening a lenticular blade in the field is done in minutes.
- COMFORTABLE HANDLE AND SHEATHThe light walnut root handle gives the knife a very pleasant balance. Its 3D treatment with special cheek grips and special surface texture makes the handle comfortable, and the hand is not strained even during prolonged work.
Thoughtfully chosen leather sheath: the knife sits deep enough in it and is also secured with an overlap strap. This ensures that the knife will not fall out even if it gets caught on a branch or bush. In addition, the sheath is equipped with a loop for a firebrand or camping mousse.
