Kizlyar Supreme Warranty

Service Centers
Quality is Kizlyar Supreme's top priority and we stand behind the quality of our products. That's why, unlike our competitors, we offer a lifetime manufacturer's warranty on all of our knives. This warranty covers all defects in workmanship, quality and materials used.

In the event of a manufacturing or material defect, Kizlyar Supreme will repair or replace the knife with the same or another model from the Kizlyar Supreme range, taking into account any price differences and availability in stock.

Warranty does not cover

improper usage
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and improper use resulting in defects, dents, cuts, breaks and other damage to the knife. Examples of improper use that may void the warranty are: Throwing, bumping, prying, hitting, chopping hard objects for which the knife is not designed; overheating the knife or any part of it; improper maintenance of mechanisms or other parts; improper storage in harsh environments and storage without cleaning and care; attempted repair or modification and other similar actions
Corrosion from lack of care
The warranty does not cover steel corrosion caused by untimely or/and insufficient care and maintenance.
We recommend that the blades be carefully wiped down and cleaned after each use, regardless of the material being cut.
A regular application of a thin layer of oil is also strongly recommended, especially for steels with higher carbon content and in contact with corrosive environments or acidic materials.
Purposes other than cutting
The function of a knife is to cut, and use for other purposes is not covered by the warranty. Knives are not designed for mortising or hammering, so breakage of the blade tip is not covered under warranty. Please match your tools to the tasks - use the edge for cutting, and your knife will serve you long and proudly

Improper usage examples

  • Opening of CAnned Packaging
Knives with thin cutting edges, especially those hardened to higher HRC values for better wear resistance, have a higher risk of breaking out and bending under lateral load. Please avoid applying force to the sides of the blade.
  • Using as a CrowBar
Knives are not designed for striking and prying like a crowbar because the blade tip is intentionally thin to stab and cut and cannot withstand heavy loads.
  • Using as a screwdriver
A knife is not a screwdriver, and no part of it should be used to loosen screws - a thin point will either bend or, in the case of harder steels, break.
  • Chopping OTher knives or nails
The knives are designed for long-term cutting of soft materials and are not intended for chopping other knives or hard objects like nails, etc. For cutting such materials, please use an ax or a chisel with a thick and properly angled cutting edge, which is much better for this task.
  • Throwing knives not designed to be thrown
Throwing knives are a special type of knives with special technical requirements. Such throwing knives do not have thin parts or edges like normal knives, otherwise they would chip very quickly. Moreover, throwing knives are hardened to about 42-45 HRC to ensure that they will not break even after years of throwing. Please see the Kizlyar Supreme throwing knife series for this great fun activity.
  • Batoning
Batoning (driving the blade into a log with butt blows) with knives designed primarily for cutting and made of harder steels (HRC 58+) significantly increases the risk of blade breakage, especially where concentrated stress is created during machining. This is not covered by the warranty, please use an ax or knife with a softer hardness.

BE RESPONSIBLE

Match your tools to the tasks - use the edge to cut, and your knife will serve you long and proudly.

Be careful when handling knives, because a very sharp edge can cause serious injury or even death.

We do not recommend that anyone under the age of 18 use knives without adult supervision.

Keep knives in places that are not accessible to children. Kizlyar Supreme assumes no responsibility for careless storage and handling of knives.
